WHY LAXIN LITTLES?

Lacrosse Made for Little Players

We’re not shrinking down an older kid’s practice. LAXin Littles is designed from the ground up for young players — shorter attention spans, developing coordination and all.

🥍

Made for Littles

Age-appropriate activities created specifically for young players ages 3–7.

🎉

Fun Comes First

Games, movement and lots of touches with the ball. Less standing around. More playing.

💛

Small Groups

Just 10 players per session with two coaches — approximately a 5:1 player-to-coach ratio.

🙌

Zero Pressure

No experience or equipment needed. Just show up ready to move, learn and have fun.

We don’t expect little players to already love lacrosse.

Our job is to help them fall in love with it. 💛

WHAT TO EXPECT

What Does a Session Look Like?

Every session keeps little players moving, learning and having fun. We introduce the basics of lacrosse through activities that feel more like play than practice.

👋
STEP 01

Welcome & Warm-Up

We start by getting bodies moving, sticks in hands and everyone comfortable and ready to play.

🥍
STEP 02

Skill of the Day

A simple lacrosse skill is introduced in an age-appropriate way — think scooping, cradling, passing and shooting.

🎯
STEP 03

Games, Games, Games

Players practice new skills through races, challenges and games — because little players learn best when they’re having fun.

🎉
STEP 04

LAXin Littles Cheer

We finish together, celebrate effort and send everyone home feeling proud and excited to come back next week.

👨‍👩‍👧

Grown-Ups Stay & Cheer!

LAXin Littles is not a drop-off program. A parent or guardian stays on-site during each session — and cheering from the sidelines is always encouraged.

No drills for drills’ sake. No pressure. Lots of play. 🥍 That’s how we grow little players who want to keep coming back.
MEET THE COACH

Big Energy for Little Players

LEAD COACH

Meet Coach Cameron

25+ years in lacrosse • 13 years coaching • Dad of three

Coach Cameron has been involved in lacrosse for more than 25 years. He played for 15 years, from preschool through college, and has spent the past 13 years coaching youth lacrosse.

Over that time, he has coached both boys’ and girls’ teams from Pre-K through 8th grade, giving him experience working with young athletes across a wide range of ages and skill levels.

He started LAXin Littles to help grow the game of lacrosse throughout York County and Central Pennsylvania by giving young players a fun, positive and age-appropriate introduction to the sport.

Outside of LAXin Littles, Cameron serves on the board of a local youth lacrosse program and referees both youth and high school boys’ lacrosse in York County. He is also a dad to three young daughters, which helps shape LAXin Littles into a program centered around confidence, movement, learning and having fun.

FAQ

Questions? We’ve Got You.

Here are the things parents usually want to know before registering their little player.

What ages can participate?
LAXin Littles is designed for children ages 3–7. Fall sessions are separated into ages 3–4 and 5–7 so activities can stay age-appropriate.
Does my child need lacrosse experience?
Not at all. LAXin Littles is specifically designed as a first introduction to lacrosse. Beginners are exactly who we’re here for.
Do we need to buy equipment?
No. LAXin Littles provides the lacrosse equipment needed for the session. Players should come dressed for active play with appropriate footwear and a water bottle.
Does a parent or guardian need to stay?
Yes. A parent or responsible adult must remain on-site during the session. LAXin Littles is an instructional youth sports program and is not a drop-off childcare program.
What happens if it rains?
Sessions may be postponed or canceled for severe weather, unsafe field conditions, excessive heat or other safety concerns. For Fall 2026, October 6 is reserved as the weather/makeup date.
What if my child misses a session?
Registration reserves your child’s place for the full four-week program. Individual missed sessions are not prorated or refunded.
How many kids are in each group?
Each session is limited to 10 players. Sessions are designed around a Lead Coach and Assistant Coach, giving players more individual attention and less time waiting.
My child is 5. Which session should I choose?
Most 5-year-olds will fit well in the ages 5–7 session, but every child is different. If you’re unsure which group would be the best fit, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers or appropriate athletic footwear are perfect. Bring a labeled water bottle. We’ll let families know in advance if anything else is needed.
What is the refund policy?
Your registration reserves one of a limited number of spots. The full cancellation and refund policy will be provided during registration before payment is completed.
